Doubt is a part of faith.
We strive to be a church that holds the love of Jesus and the sacredness of all people as our sole focus. We hope to honor the Image of God in you whether you join us for church in-person, online, or when we hang out outside of the church walls. As an inclusive faith community, we hope to be a safe place for you to receive and share love anytime and anywhere.
At Woven, you won't find much about dogmas, doctrines, theological agreements, or biblical mandates. We are united through love with no asterisks, timelines, or buts. We believe that God is so much better than what we've been led to believe about Them.
We welcome the entirety of humanity regardless of marital or economic status, race, age, creed, physical or developmental abilities, mental health, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
We welcome the broken and the whole.
Those that are curious, full of doubt, and also those with answers.
Those that are tired who need rest and love on their journey.
Those with great joy and those who are in mourning.
May you become great recievers of the love of God, with us...
Together.
Woven is fully inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ community, and are fully egalitarian. You are more than just welcomed to attend, we fully affirm and believe that you are a loved child of God, just as you are. All LGBTQIA+ individuals are celebrated and welcomed to church membership, volunteering, leadership, and marriage. The majority of our church founders are individuals who have been on the receiving end of discrimination either for being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community or for supporting it, as well as peoples who aren’t convinced of a higher power at all. One of our deepest held convictions is that ALL people are welcome to participate in our community whether or not they hold to any particular belief. While as a church we affirm orthodox Christian creeds, we believe that each individual deserves wiggle room and curiosity as a part of faith. We believe that the result of any exclusionary belief is harmful to the Body of Christ.
